Who we are
Made to Move Kids Physiotherapy is a Physiotherapy service for babies, children and young adults within the Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and lower Hunter areas.
We support children and families with physical challenges, developmental delay and concerns with typical development.
We know that all children are unique and we are passionate about adapting therapy to meet individual needs whilst making therapy fun and engaging. We support clients and families to feel empowered and supported to reach the goals that they choose for themselves in the places that they live their lives.
Made to Move Kids Physiotherapy is a caring, hardworking and dedicated team of knowledgeable Physiotherapists helping children to live their life fully by boosting their ability to participate in everyday activities.
We provide a community based intervention service, focusing on providing support in the places that are important to you such as home, daycare, school and your local community.
Our Physiotherapists work closely with a network of likeminded allied health professionals, as we know the importance of working together with the team you have chosen to support and achieve your goals.
What we do
Made to Move Kids Physiotherapy support children with:
Delayed gross motor development:
- Children with poor balance and coordination
- Children who have muscles that are stiff or floppy
- Children with poor posture
- Children who have chronic pain
- Children with low vision and vison impairment
We specialise in supporting children with chronic conditions including Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Ehlers Danlos syndrome, Developmental Coordination Disorder, Septo-optic dysplasia.
Developmental assessment of babies and children with delays in their development:
- Flat spot on their head (Plagiocephaly)
- Tight neck or tend to turn their head one direction (Torticollis)
- Babies that don’t like tummy time
- Rehabilitation following injuries or surgery
We also provide the following services:
Aquatic therapy/Hydrotherapy
Pre and post Botulinum toxin injection assessment and intervention
Orthotics prescription
Equipment needs such as walking frames and standing frames
School readiness screen
Infant Screening sessions
Our Infant Screening Sessions is a supportive service designed to help parents and carers of babies (0–18 months) navigate their child’s early development with confidence. We feel strongly about supporting parents in the early years, giving them the reassurance and tools they need.
If you know a parent who has concerns about their baby’s feeding, communication, play, or motor development, our screening sessions provide:
✅ A gentle and reassuring approach to developmental screening
✅ Practical strategies tailored to each baby’s needs
✅ Guidance on next steps, including helpful pathways for further support
Run by Nattalie Crews (Physiotherapist) and Jamie Williams (Speech Pathologist), these sessions offer expert insights and personalised advice in a family-centred setting.
Areas We Support
Early feeding – Breast/chest, bottle, and tube feeding guidance
Connection & play – Supporting attachment and development through play
Gross motor skills – Strength, coordination, and mobility strategies
Physical development – Support and strategies for head shape, neck tightness/preference, clicky hips
Solids & mealtimes – Transitioning from milk to solids
Communication – Enhancing early communication skills, including gestures and language development

Nattalie Crews
Director/Physiotherapist.
Nattalie has provided Physiotherapy services in the community including disability services, not for profit and private practice for over 10 years, she has extensive experience working with babies, children and young adults of differing levels of abilities. She is passionate about working with clients and their families to achieve their goals in the places that are important to them such as home, daycare, school, work and in the community. Nattalie uses a play-based approach to therapy and is flexible to ensure therapy is fun and engaging.
NDIS:
We are currently supporting children with NDIS plans that are Self-managed and Plan-managed. Please refer to the NDIS website for the current pricing.
Medicare:
Speak with your GP to see if you are eligibility for up to 5 subsidised Physiotherapy sessions per year.
Private Health Cover:
Physiotherapy sessions may be claimable through your private health provider depending on your coverage. Contact your provided for details.
